Class Series

Series are classes that run for a limited period, usually 4-6 weeks; they require a minimum of prepaying registrants, after which the series will run and drop-in participants are welcome. The current series runs for 5 weeks, with a week off near the middle, during the academic 'March Break'.

Please prepay to reserve your space by Thursday Feb. 16; Debbie will email the listserve on Friday Feb. 17, to let you know which classes will run.

Make-up class policy: If you miss a class, you can do a make up in another similar class within the same time period (Feb/Mar), as long as there is room in the class.  Ask Debbie. 

If you want to attend two or more classes per week for the Series, you could get a better deal than offered here.  Please call or email debbie directly to let her know what classes you are interested in.

SUNRISE YOGA Series (10 classes)

Dates: Tuesdays and Thursdays,  Feb 21 to Mar. 29, 2012

Time:   7 - 8 am;   No Classes Mar. 13, 15.

Cost: $97 for 10 classes;

If 6 minimum prepay,  Drop-in at $12/class.

Begin your day with intention; stretch and strengthen your body, mind and heart.  Engage with your breath and life force, preparing to greet the day with a sense of well-being.   Commit to your well-being twice per week. This alignment based Hatha yoga class will engage the muscular, organic and energetic bodies, as well as be themed with inspirational concepts aligned with the great wisdom of Yoga.

Sunrise Yoga Series $97

Grow Your Yoga Series - - Level 2   (5 classes)

Dates: Wednesdays;  Feb. 22 to Mar. 28, 2012.

Time:  11:30 am to 1 pm;  No class Wed. Mar. 14, 2012.

Cost: $55 for 5 classes.

Minimum 5 prepays; If fulfilled, drop in at $13

Start where you are, filled with the intention of growing your practice. This class is for experienced practitioners who desire to develop a deeper integration of self through the exploration of breath with asana.  You will have the opportunity to do more advanced standing poses, inversions, balancings, and backbends in a safe environment.

Grow Your Yoga A - $55

Grow Your Yoga Series B - Level 2 (5 classes)

Dates: Wednesdays;  Feb. 22 Mar. 28, 2012.

Time:  5:30 pm to 7 pm;  No class Wed. Mar 14, 2012.

Cost: $55 for 5 classes.

Minimum 5 prepays; If fulfilled, drop in at $13

Total Yoga Series: posture, breath, meditation. (5 classes)

Dates: Tuesdays;  Feb. 21 to Mar. 26, 2012.

Time: 7 - 8:15 pm.     No Classes March 13/12

Cost: $55 for 5 classes

Minimum 7 people; if fulfilled, drop-in at $13/class

Connect to your body through stretching and strengthening; explore and expand your own energy and balance through simple breath practices; and shift to a deeper place of awareness through visualization and meditation practices.  This class is a perfect synthesis of 3 yogic practices meant to create balance and deep well-being.

Total Yoga $55


Mid-Day Shift Series:  (5 classes)

Dates: Thursdays;  Feb 23 to Mar. 29, 2012.

Time: noon to 1 pm.  No class Mar15/12

Cost: $50 for 5 classes

Minimum 6 people; if fulfilled, drop-in at $13/class

Balance your day with a noon hour of connecting to your body through breath and mindful stretching and strengthening.  This alignment based class will help you build a bridge between the natural intelligence of your mind and body and refresh your whole being for the afternnon and evening.

Mid-day Shift Yoga $50

OPTIMIZING YOUR & OTHERS
CLASS EXPERIENCE

Wear comfortable shorts, tights or sweats and top. Bring extra layer for deep relaxation pose.

It’s best to wait at least 2 - 3 hours after a meal or 1 hour after a snack before practicing yoga.

Drink plenty of water well before class starts. Having a closable water bottle in class is fine. No other drinks or food in the main studio. Thank you.

Show up before the class start time to sign and settle in; the teachers are there 10-20 minutes in advance.

Turn off your cell phone before coming into class; leave belongings in the entrance.

Please refrain from wearing fragrances of any kind; some people are allergic to them.
